Any members who would be willing to take a newbie bow fishing? I’ve been wanting to give it a try but don’t wanna invest all the money into the equipment before i know if I’ll like it or not. I am willing to pay for gas, and even pay you if you’d like.

My brother has a guide service over in GA. Now that quail season is wrapping up, he should get back to bow fishing. He loves bowfishig and his rates are super reasonable. https://m.facebook.com/Willingham-Outdoor-Services-744404955688126/

I have a buddy driving up to Gville from Tuscaloosa tonight to go for the first time. Shoot me a pm if you want to make the drive to Gville one Friday or Sat night. Full up this weekend. I don't have an expensive rig but we still shoot fish. If you don't plan on shooting any tournaments I suggest going with the LED lights. Two deep cycle batteries gets me about 5-6 hrs of fishing and we don't have to yell at each other over the generator. Years ago I had the genny and halogen lights and I would quit before I went back to that setup. I think Beadlescomb used to (may still) do some bowfishing and he is a lot closer. Maybe he will chime in.

It may be a few weeks but I’ll get with you on that, I’d love to do it
