So your wreck was driver error. Plus, admit it, your ex was missing those teeth before the crash.😀

It was driver error and I am very experienced that's why I say it's dangerous because most of the ones you see there are younger, more than likely way less experienced and drinking. Just a bad combination and I did pick her up working night shift at Waffle House laugh

haleyville al,
My wife runs the mud run there every year. The spectator was killed the week before the mud run. My old boss tried to get me to go with them to ride but they do to much drinking for me to ride with them. We used to trail ride in our trucks and quite going to rides because john bob would get hammered and say say hold my beer. People don't think there is any danger in drinking and driving off road for some reason.

If y'all ever stop at shoals outdoors walk behind there shop. They had a pile of rzr behind it that have less than 50hrs where people would buy one deck it out then total it in a few rides.

Why pay that much for something needing a trailer and a $5k used Jeep will out perform by leaps and bounds.

The only thing that’s better on that 5000 dollar Jeep is that it may have a/c. Other than that it won’t go anywhere a razor will go.

they have a waiver form you have to sign before riding on the property. So I imagine they're not at fault on anything.

For the most part you are correct, however, it depends.

I figure if anyone gets in trouble it may be the young guy that was driving, if alcohol was involved. But I wasn't there and I don't know anything that happened for sure. I just pray for all that were involved!!

My guess is there was speed involved...and likely involved in all of the accidents that happen out there? I get it that people buy these things to go fast, but there is a limit to these vehicles capabilities. Huge difference going over what looks like a small bump or hole or turn going 20mph vs 45-50mph.

Not surprising to hear that alcohol was involved. Good luck enforcing that no cooler rule.

Reads like the young lady who was killed worked at Wilburn Outdoors?

Sad situation for all involved.
Prayers lifted up.

I’ve been around him some, he is a great dude... But if you know him, you also know a lot of alcohol was involved in those weekend rides at Stoney Lonsome. And the girl should’ve known better than to jump in any type of motorized vehicle with him...

I hate it for the girl that lost her life and the young man that has to deal with it for the rest of his life both of them made piss poor decisions that day. I heard her dad is making a big stink about it and the charges towards him, it what I heard and no nothing about it or if there's any truth to it. I know her dad is the one that was caught with close to 100 stolen trailers I cullman a few years back and didn't serve but a few days in prison of his 20 something year sentence because he needed to stay out to run his business along with some other bulldoodoo story he gave. If he feels so stromgly about pushing the "fair card" he should be stuck back in prison or show the young man some slack like he he received. Like i said i hate that the young girl lost her life but accidents can be avoided like this one. If either would have been wearing the seatbelt/harness it would have been avoided the same accident could have happened if they were intoxicated or sober

I just hope the court realizes there were two bad decisions made that day. One was choosing to drive and the other was choosing to ride. I hate these situations. I’ve had friends in this same situation on both sides of it. The ones that made it are serving a life sentence regardless of the law. It’s never good. I can’t say we’ve all been there but a lot of us have been the driver and the rider a bunch of times we shouldn’t have. I wish younger adults would listen when I try to tell them it’s fraking stupid but it always falls on deaf ears because it’s just having “fun”.
