Helena: El Patron, San Antonio Grill or El Tejano. ^^This^^ Cozumel, San Antonio and Del Toro are the best of these IMO. Zapata in Pelham is also good. For good Tamales, go to Champys Chicken in Alabaster.

I'm going to have to try the tamales at Champys. I've heard several people talk about them.

Always friendly and the food is good IMO. there is a Mexican restaurant nest to TS Arms. great food, the owner use to be at Cozumel. Had it last night, that salsa is just right.

Just don't go to the place that is across the street from the hospital. I was in their kitchen on 2 different occasions and one time there was a dead doe bleeding out in the floor, the other time a waitress brought some half eaten plates back from a table that had left. Set them down on a table in the back and started eating what was left. This was about 5-6 years ago. Idk if they are still open or not That's Sol Azteca, I eat the 2-3 times a week. Mostly because it's fast. Maybe I'm eating someone else's food?????
