If you guys hadn’t tried the Xtreme Motion Jeans or Xtreme Comfort khakis by Lee, I highly recommend them. I’m hard to fit (no arse and a belly). These are the best fitting pants I’ve owned in awhile. Belk has buy one, get 2 free right now at $69. It works out to like $23 a pair.

Firehose pants are the best. Duluth has very good clothes.

Duluth is awesome, but I love the Extreme comfort Lee pants. I have three pair, but thanks to this thread I'll be buying 3 more khakis. I can be dressy enough for a meeting and comfortable on a job site. Also the front pockets are just right for my pocket 380.
Thanks for the tip!

The Duluth Firehose pants are tough and comfortable. Those pants that you see LEO wear all the time are 511 pants. I'm sure they can be found other places, but all mine come from Galls.com, a first responder clothing and equipment store. Very comfortable and durable. I've got 4 pair and I have been wearing them pretty much every day since I retired 5 years ago.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I wouldn't mind trying the Duluth's but they seem kind of high. A guy here in town carries soft-twill Carhartt's for about $25.

I have the first pair of Duluth flex firehose that I bought over 10 yeaars ago, and they are still wearable as work pants. I've never owned any clothes this tough that are this comfortable, and I have tried Riggs, Carhartt, Wrangler, etc.
I wear the carpenter pants in khaki. Dressy enough to slide under the radar for business casual, and when they start to fade, great outdoor britches.
Fit is on the loose side, and they are available in John Deere sizes.
They also have a larger "dance floor". You know, ballroom.

I'm shocked that they don't have the pants in the sale section of their website currently. They are usually around $39 dollars. I also own Several other brands of Carpenter pants such as Carhartt, Dickies. They don't come close to comparing to the Duluth ones. Just keep checking their website and they'll be on sale in the near future. Once you buy from Duluth, you get discount coupons in the mail frequently. Here are the ones I love. I don't like the ones with huge pockets on both legs. https://www.duluthtrading.com/store/mens/mens-pants/18101.aspx?processor=content

All I used to wear was Carheartt until I read across Duluth. Their cloths are the absolutely the best... They cost more but this is one of those situations that you get what you pay for. While you will pay more but they also last a lot longer.

Those Columbia ROC II pants are great. I also like Kuhl when you find a pair on sale
