Hombres,
What are the best flushing toilets out there on the market?
Also, best flushing ones that I can pick up at Home Depot?
Don't care about water conservation.
Thanks.

Any of them that work properly.

Lowes has a Kohler that has a completely different flush valve inside it. No flapper. It has a tube about 3-4" and the whole tube lifts up to let water pour in and it flushes a heck of a lot better than a flapper. Not as good as the old toilets that sucked air when flushed but its the best non commercial one Ive seen in a while.
Here is a link. You can see the whole canister lifts instead of a flapper. https://www.build.com/kohler-1069722/s53811?uid=1652544&source=gg-gba-pla_1652544!c213233119!a14390613799!dc!ns&cvosrc=pla.google.1652544&cvo_cid=213233119&cvo_crid49842551719=&=&cvo_adgroup=14390613799&cvo_uniqueid=1652544&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-6jRo9Hi2gIVDBGBCh1yBguDEAQYASABEgIHMPD_BwE

get a traditional flush toilet no pressure assist junk and first thing before you put the tank on the bowl replace the flush valve and and adjust it to hold as much water as it can possibly hold without running out the flush handle hole. had to do this with every toilet in my house got tired of having to flush 2 and 3 times once you get that new flush valve the overflow is taller and you can get it to hold about 25%more water Good point.. Also, the fill tube on the newer toilet is shorter in an attempt to keep you from raising the water level but a 1" Sharkbite or cpvc coupling fits it so you can add more to it

We have a Kohler that's about 5 years old. I bought it at Lowe's. It only uses 1.5GPM, but it flushes really well.

Are those the ones that sound like you're turning the vacuum cleaner on when you flush? They startle me when not expecting it.

I put a Champion 4 in a few years ago and so far it’s undefeated. I'll second this recommendation. Seven years and not one issue with flushing. Replaced a few internal parts, but no plunger in the house!

Many don't know this but the newer toilets that are "efficient" will flush better if you hold the lever down 3 seconds or so. That's how they are made to work. The quick flush is for pee. The longer flush is obvious.
The best toilets aren't made any longer.

Replaced a few internal parts, but no plunger in the house! First, thanks for all the replys guys. Second - Home Depot has the Champion 4, but only in the 1.28 gallon flush, not the 1.6. The 1.6 can be ordered but is over 2 times the price of the 1.28. Is there a big difference between the two in terms of flushing ability?

buy the one that uses the most water you can find without any special pressure assist valves or anything just a standard flush valve. ive been doing maintenance for 15 years trust me you can thank me later when you eventually have to replace something on it and the part doesnt cost as much as the toilet and it doesnt get stopped up every other week.
