II wonder if some of the medication they put people on for depression/anxiety etc plays a role in these “unexplained” suicides.
I believe so 100%. It's also a common link in dang near every mass shooting.
I too, lost one of my best friends to suicide 3 years ago. He had never been one to be anything but joyful for the 20 years I knew him. Wife decides she wants a new man and got him in the dumps. He goes to the doctor and doctor prescribes him an antidepressant "just to help him through this rough patch." He was dead in less than 90 days.
