Where are the comments about the thousands of people who kill them selves every every year and are not famous? I don’t see post on here weekly for the soldiers who came home with PTSD and kill themselves. I feel for these famous people’s families, like I would anyone else. But, the news coverage sickens me. It's estimated that 22 veterans commit suicide every day. Not much national news about that.

Its sad how the media covers these situations. I hate it for the guys family but I hate it a lot worse for the families of our troops that have to deal with the things they do. It’s not fair that’s for sure. Where are the comments about the thousands of people who kill them selves every every year and are not famous? I don’t see post on here weekly for the soldiers who came home with PTSD and kill themselves. I feel for these famous people’s families, like I would anyone else. But, the news coverage sickens me. And in my eyes thats one of the sorriest humans you can be. They are the miserable ones in reality. To act stupid to enjoy getting a rise out of someone is a terrible quality trait in a person. Because if you watch....its the same bunch that does it. Yeah every now and then is funny. But it aint funny when it is always the same bunch each time. They are the miserable. Must have little man syndrome.  Some how, some folks just going to have to learn how to just walk away.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta released a report Thursday about suicide rates from 1999-2016. More than half of the states in the U.S. have seen an increase in suicide of about 30 percent, crossing ages, genders, races and socioeconomic/urban ranges. -- North Dakota's increase was 58 percent, highest in the country. -- Alabama's increase was 25+ percent. -- Fifty-four percent of those who committed suicide in 27 states in 2015 did not have a known mental health condition. -- Among decedents with available information, several circumstances were significantly more likely among those without known mental health conditions than among those with mental health conditions, including relationship problems/loss (45.1% versus 39.6%), life stressors (50.5% versus 47.2%), and recent/impending crises (32.9% versus 26.0%), but these circumstances were common across groups. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/67/wr/mm6722a1.htm?s_cid=mm6722a1_w

Clem, those numbers while I'm sure accurate are a little misleading. North Dakota due to its low population might not take much for a 58% increase. I would think suicides/100,000 people would be more comparing apple's to apples.
If you find me hanging or burned to death, you can sure bet i didn't do it to myself! I believe they're based on per 100,000.
