KHOOKS OP 8 point K Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 1,737 CENTRAL ALABAMA	Who is reloading 300 blackout? I had a guy at one of the gun shops tell me that 300 blackout was a big pain in the a@# to reload. He said the case are a pain to resize after firing and that most folks that reload it are reloading with new brass and not once fired brass. Any truth to the above statement.

odocoileus 14 point Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 7,043 Selma	I am going to say no, that's not true. I don't reload it, but I can't fathom how that is true. Guy's probably not lubing the cases prior to sizing, or he has a chamber way out of spec.

The only issue I've had is an occasional Hornady 300 Whisper case being short in the shoulder (too much headspace) causing light strikes on the primer in the R700. run it through the AR and its good to go on the next loading.

I haven't seen it all but I've seen some. Long as dies and chambers are in spec SAMMI or CIP wise should't be a problem. Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.
