I always admired the physical shape they are in. The run all the time. The Last Of The Mohicans. That guy ran everywhere he went. Top players run up to 9-10 miles in a match and may play a couple a week not to mention training. Physically, I'd probably put top world soccer players and Olympic-class swimmers in the top tier. Swimmers, physically, are friggin' beasts.

speaking of being in shape, i wish american football would go back to one platoon. parity really would be possible with rosters so much smaller. players would be lighter, quicker overall, less apt to be injured, and pure athletes would get to show off all of their chops.
