Damn shame. Praying for the families of the victims.
The victims of a lunatic and the policy’s that keep the majority of Americans from protecting themselves while at work when providing a profit margin for the same ones that put in place the policy that got them killed. Doesn’t make sense. In my experience, those company policies are all about plausible deniability. The management won't discourage you from carrying, but if you should have to use your weapon they can run away from any liability and hide behind the "company policy".
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

this shooting had zero to do with the paper's op-ed page, or the shooter's politics. nut job who had a beef with the paper, even lost a lawsuit against the paper. and, of course, no one was carrying in the news room, because that's what most newspapers require. sickening. i was a newspaper reporter and editor for 34 years. my life frequently was threatened. i carried a snubbie, prior to formal CCW in alabama, when i worked for a medium sized daily. had a note from the local sheriff saying i was ok to carry. later, when i worked for the b'ham news, policy said no firearms anywhere on property. uh, yeah ...
