Damn....Do some of yall not have anything better to do this time of year? Go fishing or something. There is better shucks to do besides celebrate who a teenage boy commits to play ball for or what news outlet gives the best chance to win a damn football game. Sure gets a little cultish sometimes.

Here's the annual Barner cycle: 1) Set high expectations for the season 2) Call for Gus to be fired by week 3 3) "hunting season is more important" posts start flying 4) Barners come out of the closet around week 8-10 once Gus finally puts it together for a 2-game stretch 5) End of season turns into a disaster 6) "hunting season is more important" posts start coming back

Your Gus posts are also incredibly funny and entertaining to read. It is probably a little early, in accordance with normal forum etiquette, to start this far in advance of the season but please do feel free to go ahead and begin cussing him and ranting about wanting him fired. That way, you'll already be in "mid-season" form and fully worked up by the time the first game gets here.
