What really burns me is to see someone proudly flying a Messican, or other foreign flag here in the US. Your proud of your heritage and wanna fly a Mexican flag? That's good. Go fly it it Tijuana. You feel the same way about the confederate flag? The confederate flag was born on this soil. There is no comparison in the two. The Confederate States of America was a sovereign nation and at that time had the constitutional right to be one and succeed from the union. bulldoodoo. If you fly the confederate flag, you have no place reason to criticize someone for flying another flag other than the American flag. Mexico is a sovereign nation too.

Only if it was on an American military installation and regulations said I could. If I lived in a neighborhood I wouldn’t. It’s disrespectful to the residents of that nation to fly a foreign flag on their soil. Same as ports. Once a cargo ship enters the port of a country it then must remove the flag of the country of origin. At least they do here. BTW I only fly the United States of America flag at my house. I have no problem with those that fly the confederate battle flag or confederate flag. It’s their property.

Was on royal Caribbean last week and they made a guy take down his American flag that was on the ocean side they had no problems with flags on interior of ship

Is it just me, or does it bug the chit outta ya'll the way so many people and organizations disgrace our American Flag these days by altering the colors for their "cause"? Prime example is the grayed out flag with the blue line or red line to symbolize police or fire fighters?
This is a DISGRACE to our flag and SHOULD NOT BE DONE.
PERIOD. It still irritates me when I see the way they have the flag oriented on military uniforms now the flag on the right shoulder is placed with the stars at top right instead of top left. I know its something about facing the direction of battle or some excuse like that but youre not in battle standing inline at subway. I was always taught stars always on top left when on a flat surface. there starting to do this with civilian clothing now and it looks stupid.

The star field should always faces forward on a uniform; doesn't matter if it is left or right shoulder. If the star field is facing aft it is a retreating flag.
