My 1895g guide gun is my go to I shoot hand loads using the hornady 325 grain ftx bullet. I only take my 30-06 out hunting if I'm hunting some thing real open but 90% of my hunting is on management areas and other public lands which mainly hardwoods or pines so the guide gun gets to go alot.
