Y’all see where my pastor made national news on cutting up a sweatband by Nike up before his sermon?

I saw it, countryjwh. Probably not the kind of attention he was hoping for I presume.

No. And actually didn’t go as the article said. Also. Do I agree with what he said. Wholeheartedly. Do I think he could of did it at a better time. Surely. But the news made it sound like something a little different.

Kinda sounds like Virtue Signaling, just to pander to their customers without really doing anything..........I mean, they're an insurance agency. Did they really have employees regularly coming into the office in athletic gear/apparel? I'm guessing no.

discontinuing the use of Nike branded apparel for business purposes

sounds like they're just going to quit using nike brand for embroidered golf shirts or something

insurance people love golf.

They may have employees out in the field wearing Nike jackets in the rain or hats or other apparel, or it may be for corporate outings. Some far-flung offices may have contracted locally to get shirts done on the quick when needed.

Nike shares are at $83.87 right now, up .74% today. Nike is laughing all the way to the bank.

This is the sad future of our country. What a shame. I will live my life the way I think I should, the Nike crowd is on their own.

Smart investors bought at -$79 because they knew it would jump. Will continue to do so, too.

Just remember this, only a little over 40% of Nike's total sales are generated in the US. The majority of it's revenues are generated internationally. So while there might be some US backlash against them over the ads, they are banking on picking up additional international sales dollars from all those other countries that hate the US and Trump. The main reason they did it was just to get the NIKE name plastered all over TV on every single news outlet and major network, worldwide for 24 hrs a day for a 2-3 week period without paying a single penny in advertising dollars to do so.
