Auburn is not like Tuscaloosa. You're right. Auburn has had 3 or 4 players killed and another one shot near campus in the last 5 or 6 years. Alabama has had none in Tuscaloosa. In that category, you're correct. I believe most people have the perception(whether true or false) is that Tuscaloosa is more dangerous of the two cities. When one has 140,000 and one has 50,000 people, that’s going to pretty much be inevitable

I’ve been downtown AU at all hours of the night over the years. There is normally a pretty large police presence at all times. It’s usually the drunk fraternity brothers causing issues Fist fights, yup agreed. Gun play at ghetto McDonalds, not too likely.

ive got $20 it involved at least 1 ASU student or fan that stayed after the game to party. some AU fans probably mouthing off about the loss. Hell they cant do anything at an ASU event in montgomery without shots being fired at some point in the night. there was a shooting about 2 weeks ago at ASU stadium during a highschool game. anytime you hear about an event involving ASU its smart to be on the other side of town.

from wsfa today:
"Three of the injured victims were transported to East Alabama Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. They are a 17-year-old male from Opelika, a 19-year-old female from Opelika and a 21-year-old male Auburn University student from Hilton Head. As of Sunday morning, two have been treated and released. The third remains hospitalized.
A 16-year-old from Opelika was flown to Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The victim is now in stable condition.
The Auburn Police Division, which is investigating the shooting, says preliminary information indicates there was an altercation right before gunfire was exchanged. Police do not believe it was a random shooting."
