I was crawling at the edge of a jungle in South America to get into position to mark my target when a troop of monkeys were heading my way, I stayed still and hoped they weren’t gonna bother me when one monkey started down a tree in front of me jabbering like a mad man. I stayed still, he came closer and closer until right at 3 feet off the ground, wham! He was hit by a bushmaster, the troop of monkeys came down and tore that snake to hell and back then took off. The monkey that saved me made it half way up the tree before he fell down to the ground beside me and I looked in his eyes as he died, he jabbered as long as he could. I can only assume his last words were something like “You dumb MOTHA, if you woulda just listened the first time”. I don’t know?
I feel the same about monkey’s as I do cops, there is a good one now and again.

Went at lunch at Perlis Truck Stop in Cusseta AL around 95-96 and saw Webster..”Emmanuel Lewis”. After lunch him and whoever he was with went out got in an suv. We were actually parked next to him and walked out right after. He was sitting on phonebooks to see over the wheel.
At first I swear I thought that was Stevo “trutalker”. Looks identical. LMAO

Have had hawks and a bald eagle buzzing a field of cotton stalks i was cutting. Had 2 rabbits that kept working to the center and bailed when it got skinny. Hawk connected...eagle didnt.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Saw a Bald Eagle catch a crappie about 3 Springs ago while crappie fishing up at LGSP. I believe that has to be a rare sight in these parts. I see the birds a lot but never seen another get it's meal.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Made the mistake of being “gifted” a 50lb behemoth of a turkey to “harvest” from Bradley aka Turkeyneck. Long story short, that was one bad mutha. Had to jump on its back riding it whilst beating it in the head with a 1/2” drive ratchet to dispatch it. Neighbors watched the whole thing in absolute horror and disbelief ( they are weird peta phuckers).
Needless to say, I ain’t ever gotten another bird from his ass again
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Stumbled upon an ant mound 5 foot tall with bones laying every where around it.
Parked in a holler, beneath the mountain moon light.

Watched a hawk swoop down and grab a rabbit one evening. All hell broke loose. I didn't think a rabbit could make that much noise, but they do.

I was bush hogging a road that runs parallel with the big creek two years ago. On the North East end the road comes into a power line. The elevation raises a good bit here right before you come out of the swampy area . It’s my favorite place to set up before daylight and catch a big gobbler coming into the power line field. Killed a many of gooduns at this spot. There’s a few shallow ditches that drain into the creek and usually have some water in them even during the dry time like now. So as I was about to cross the last ditch before entering the power line the biggest water moccasin I’ve ever seen was making its way to the creek. I tried to speed up best I could without losing control of the tractor to run over it and chop it up in little pieces. It gave me the ibby gibby’s So much that I’ve yet to go back to that spot to Turkey hunt thinking that bastage is there waiting for me.
I also have watched coyotes dig into a round bale of hay and pull out dead snakes that were in the wrong place during hay cutting time.

Not crazy but a couple of really cool sights. Up in ONEONTA, I saw a hawk swoop down and catch a snake. I saw a bald eagle catch a fish on Lake Purdy. The best was watching 5 bald eagles catch fish on Lake Martin for about an hour one evening right before dark.

Sometime back around 18 years or so Me, my Dad and a buddy of his were heading to hunt Nat Mountain. We were driving down HWY 72 when we started seeing lights streaking across the sky. It was some kind of meteor shower. There were thousands if not millions of them of them and they lasted all the way up until daylight. We pulled over on the highway to watch them for a little while before heading on to hunt. I remember climbing into my stand and just staring at the sky for an hour so before daylight just thinking that it was only a matter of time until a space rock come flying into the woods. Sounds like an awesome memory. Some of my favorite hunting memories are of times I managed to drag by butt into a stand an hour or so before shooting light.
