Man, we don’t need another drop of rain out on the coast. We still have customer job sites under water as it is. Got a sales call down in Myrtle scheduled for Thursday. The areas I have to pass through to get there are just now recovering from the flooding from Florence. I guess we will see how big this one is going to get. Hopefully it won’t be anything too bad for all those on the gulf coast and Atlantic coast.

Model trends don’t look good this morning for the Panama City area. NHC now has landfall as a major hurricane.

Where are you seeing Destin/PCB? Looks like it's pointing to Port St. Joe area at this moment.

Going to be a big storm. Steady east wind here and it's still 2 days away.

Yep, but I do recall Katrina having the same conditions we'll ahead of the storm.

Yep, it'll break it up, turn everything over and oxygenate the water. Red tide will be be gone once it rolls up this way.

I bet they nudge it a little to the left on the next update.

I'm still skeptical of the computer models and have little faith in the honesty of the hype mongers.
However, I won't be taking this one lightly. There's only been 4 October hurricanes to hit the upper gulf coast in the last 100 years and all of them were at least a Cat 3.
Historically, October hurricanes have not been friendly to the gulf coast region.

Just as I suspected. They nudged it a little west. I suspect that will be the trend on each update.
