To late to leave now. People get stuck out on roads and end up in worse shape.
Abolt 300 have you ever been thru a storm on the coast? I've been thru Erin, Opal and several more. After Ivan I said I would not stay in another one. Things get pretty hairy when power is off and you hear things hitting your house.

I was born in FWB medical center. The only other place I've ever lived was Mobile. I've been within 10 miles of the gulf my entire life and I'm 50 yrs old and have been through pretty much every storm that has hit the panhandle and south Bama since 1969. You got any more questions for me??? My brother and I left Mobile right after Ivan came on shore over here and pretty much cut our way all the way across Hwy 4 through Blackwater to get to my parents in Shalimar who had lost the roof off their house. Yeah, I've dealt with storms before. You ever seen pine needles stuck into bricks and siding like they were darts? I have.
