Peninsula Estates station, on Cape San Blas, is still up and running...55-70 mph there, now, and they're just a few miles NE of the eye.

The best thing happening with it right now is that it looks like it is going to go in just a little east of the main population centers of PCB and PC. It's never good but the population density drops off drastically once you get east of PC/Calloway. Still going to be bad in PC but it's better for them to be in the NW quadrant rather than NE.

Wind is blowing pretty good here in Milton, FL. Rain has been steady since I was up at 5am and coming down pretty good at the moment. Surprisingly still have power. Looks like between Panama City and Mexico Beach is going to be devastated.

Light rain, 8-10mph with gusts to about 20 here in Niceville, about 1/2 mile off Choctawhatchee bay. Buddies on the water started getting water over their docks about an hr ago. Mexico Beach, Pt St Joe and Apalachicola are gonna get killed by storm surge.

It's had the projected eastward drift for the past 3-4 hrs. Looks like the eye is going to cross about 3-5 miles east of Calloway.

They've taken Farley nuclear plant to 30% power and will probably be doing a complete shutdown on both Units.

That’s going to make very little difference at this point. PCB is still going to catch the eyewall.

I gotta head up your way to Whiting Field first thing in the morning. Hope there's not much debris in the roads.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Eye wall is making landfall right now and the live weather channel reporter in PCB is showing 41 mph winds with gusts to 66 mph. She's standing in the street talking right now. Apalachicola looks like it is getting way more wind based on the live feeds from reporters. West side getting a ton more than east.

I turned on The Weather Channel and watching these people with no scripts doing ad-lib reports standing outside is just absolutely painful to watch. I'd rather them just show different shots on video and have no sound. They can't speak without a script.

They said Mexico Beach is taking the brunt of the eyewall. Port St Joe, Cape San Blas, everything along through there is getting hammered.

"It certainly looks like it is ... coming ... ashore ... now."

Gee, thanks Captain Obvious.

Stephanie Abrams is about to get blown away.

I keep waiting for a sign, tree or flying metal to decapitate or kill someone on live camera. It'll happen someday.
