That feller on the left is BhamFred.
I was going to guess Bham Fred and Perch but saw the spike in the middle so I know one of them has to be quailman.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

Great book. Read it many years ago& still have it somewhere.....
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Why is he holding a bottle over the fire? Also, the rifle leaning against the tent pole at first glance I thought was an 1894 but looks like the forearm may extend to end of barrel? Not a bottle..skillet.

Not a bottle..skillet. I can see it being a skillet with something in it now that you say that. My poor eyesight. Now tell me what that is that looks like a hound lying beside the tent? Looks like a hoedad below the saddle also?

that's the way deer hunting ought to be,reckon they said "this is our harvest", or "look what we KILLED" !!!!!! Thus we have game laws that brought the population back to huntable levels that we have now.
Don't go looking for TROUBLE, it'll find you soon enough!

Looks like they didn't care too much about horns or meat. I’m just guessing but I bet they saved the horns to sale, ate the meat and sold the hides. It’s a awesome picture for sure!
