Sorry guys signal is very spotty here. Now back to the story. I look around and don’t see anything, I finally lean up to look out of his window and see a huge bodied deer but can’t see his rack. He is perfectly camouflaged with the small spot of standing corn that he is standing in front of. He finally shakes some water off his back and I see his dark chocolate horns and can tell he’s a 10pt. Not the biggest buck but a solid 130” deer. I told Travis to grab the gun and get ready, I gave him a green light to shoot that buck. The deer turned and walked out into the little patch of corn I told him to wait till he was broad side and to take his time the buck was in no hurry and was eating so we had plenty of time. I’m trying to get the binos on him when all of a sudden a shot rings out! I see water fly off the deer and thought Travis had hit him. The buck runs directly towards us, then cuts back into the woods, I was able to watch him for about 60yards them lost him.

I don't even know the rest of the story but his Pike county youth hunt story is 10 times better than ours... Other than the 2 snakes in our blind, not much to talk about.
Hunt is over, there should be good signal by now. Man, sorry to hear that. Hopefully they got one....i guess we will know in time. Or then again...maybe not.
