It's slow in my #1 honey hole this morning. I get to hunt my #2 honey hole this afternoon. I have been waiting on a good west or north west wind to hunt it. Suppose to get one today after lunch. It's a sweet little water oak flat situated between two 10 year old pine plantations. The deer have been staging here before heading out to a winter wheat field planted along the county road. I'll be very surprised if I don't see some bones in this spot.
Wind is going to blow you out of the tree this evening.
Not gonna have to worry about that wind this afternoon if can find the stud I just ran a Rage thur his cage. I hit him a little higher than I would like but still feel good about the shot. Hopefully I find him gonna give him plenty of time.
