Ain't never seen someone put cocktail sauce on a piece of fish in my life that was sober. Cocktail sauce is for shellfish. Tarter is for fish sammiches. Been around a couple hundred years. Made with pickles. If it don't have pickles it ain't tarter.
Next thing y'all gonna tell me "I don't like mayo". Maybe you put Marinara on your steak.. I don't know.
