I agree with this with the addition that most properly seasoned fish doesn’t need a lot of sauce.

Some fresh bluegill filets go rightly nice with good ole ketchup.

Went COB today and had a bait of raw oysters. Man they were good. I used a little bit of cocktail sauce and lots of horse radish.

Yes sir, that’s my “wet” batter on all fish I fry.

Straight yella cornmeal with some Tony’s for my dry.

375 degree peanut oil for a bath. thumbup

And I like tartar sauce as well.

I cooked in a fish and seafood restaurant for 6 years and this is what I know to be true.

I agree. I should have added that "When I do use sauce..." those are the sauces I use on what seafood.

Ranch is good with fish.
Hush puppies should have onion powder NOT onion, because onion slices aren't the same thickness. Cocktail sauce is acceptable, tartar and mayonnaise are nasty.

Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

Cocktail sauce is terrible. I like tarter sauce on just about any kind of fish or seafood except oysters, and I like them baked with cheese and bacon.
