Too bad I didn't hit the jackpot on the lotto this week. That's the only way I could afford to set foot on that place. Maybe we could get a couple of hundred aldeer members together and get it.

I saw that 2200 acres of the old Sehoy plantation near Union Springs is available for lease. Probably high as a cats back, but is probably as good as it gets. It was listed on the Enon Facebook page but I'm pretty certain the land that is for lease is a different tract on co rd 10 southeast of Tuskegee. I don't think there is anything available at Enon.

That’s a heck of a deal, I have a friend who owns 1200 acres in the area and Campbell soup has a 3 year deal at $35/acre for it

The land is for sale. I don't blame a landowner for leasing property, but it is asking a lot to lease it now on short notice AND while the land is actively listed for sale. The realtor shows the land to potential buyers all during deer season. That is problematic in itself.

The realtor shows the land to potential buyers all during deer season. That is problematic in itself. our property in Russell County was recently placed on the market and the real estate agents are already driving me crazy. They absolutely refuse to lock a gate behind themselves and never let us know when they are coming even though our lease agreement states they must let us know when they are going to show the property. I've already had cameras stolen from them leaving the gates open, haven't had a single problem in 10 years and as soon as the for sale sign was posted I have had nothing but problems.

That's not really that high as far as leases go It is certainly higher then average for the State of Alabama. But given that it is Enon it is certainly reasonable, high end of reasonable, but still not a price gouge amount.

A buddy of mine had the same thing happen and turns out it was the realtor himself poaching on it! Even after he gave the guy the boot, he had guys sneaking in from the backside where no one ever had before. The realtor found out how to get in the property from adjoining property. Caught his kid too! Screw those sobs.
