Tuesday Nov. 10th LFTT. I finally got a cell phone signal while hunting for the first time. I’m set up on the edge of a big ole nasty pine/honeysuckle thicket with rubs and scrapes in it and around it. Two trails within shooting distance flat wore out. Local have said all week the rut will start Saturday when the cold front hits. Well it’s Saturday and it has sleeted and snowed on me for the last hour. It’s 30 degrees and the temp is falling. I only have one glove and it’s not the one I hold my bow with. Here is a little snow on my bow and the thicket.

It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!
