That’s what players do that constantly get whipped or play for a shitty team. Maybe bammer shouldn't have a schedule full of shitty teams then Since The Citadel is a shitty team, does that mean Tua sits out? If so, Mack and Jalen better be wearing extra knee pads.

Stidham was sacked zero times vs Uga. Token tua sacked 4 times at shitty ms st. That O line better man up Trying to remember and too lazy to Google. Did a shitty Ms state team beat the aubies(the losses all run together). You didn't catch one here and Big Q will know Mr Houston Rocket in two weeks.

One thing everyone is forgetting is the “roughing the passer” rule. The NCAA rule book says this....
“When an offensive player is in a passing posture with one or both feet on the ground, no defensive player rushing unabated shall hit him forcibly at the knee area or below”
By definition I think that should have been a 15 yard penalty although I don’t guess they call it very often for a low hit. Also there is no way that the medical team at Alabama would clear Tua to play if his knee was seriously hurt. I hope he doesn’t play at all against the Citadel, rests up that knee and then hangs 60 on the barn 😀👍🏻

Damn, 2fiddy7 stepping up the class level in here. Burbank is actually sittin' back in awe. It's all good though, we get to watch about 5-7 more years of meltdowns (unless there are more contract extensions). 257 just likes picking the low hanging fruit on the sports forum 😀

He was scrambling and not passing, therefore this rule doesn't apply. Kills me people trying to make a legal hit illegal when it suits them. Maybe we'll have a new rule book next year to bitch about when Tua gets his hand stepped on and can't play for a month. They'll be saying the defense can't play with their shoes on.

I keep seeing all the comments made by Alabama fans about the sack where the guy hit Tua “around” the knee. I don’t see no problem with this play. The guy was playing hard and was it dirty? Maybe...maybe not...but I don’t think so after watching it over and over. Here’s my question: if Tua had a bad shoulder instead of knee would ANYONE have had an issue with this sack? Nope! If he did have a bad shoulder and the guy had hit him there, would fans have had an issue with that and called it dirty? Yep! Bottom line is if you have a gimped up QB out there it’s your fault if they knock him out. If Tua wasn’t gimped up this would just have been a great play and had it been bama making the sack the fans would have loved it. And another retard

Saban was asked about the repeated hits.
“The NFL has a rule for that,” Saban said shrugging. “The NFL has a lot of rules to protect people. Some of which people complain about. I think we have a lot of capable people in the NCAA to make decisions about, ‘What are good rules relative to player safety.’ I’ve always been supportive of those rules and I think someone else should really make a decision about whether there’s anything wrong with what happened in this game today. I’m not complaining about it. Football is football, and it is what it is. We need to do a better job of protecting our QB so people don’t get a chance to hit him.”
"I'm not near as critical about how big they are as I once was. Smiles are more important now! We will grow more deer." Jimmy G.
