FB is where the new gen goes today. And with FB live, it makes perfect sense to use that media outlet. Today's younger generation doesn't use Facebook. They think it's stupid and is for old people. That bears out in surveys by social media outlets, with most FB users being age 40 and older along with significant declines in usage by young people. "Kids" today - those being teens to post-college graduates - are more into Instagram (which is being ruined by Facebook, its owner), Snapchat and Twitter (not as much, tho). They also don't use email as much, unless needed for work, and prefer to text. YouTube is HUGE with that crowd as well.
