Question for law enforcement. Is standing outside someone's home or business and shouting trough a bullhorn not disturbing the peace?

The intent of the professional chit-stirrers has been to incite violence from the beginning. Has nothing to do with justice for the deceased. The more these POS azzholes raise the rhetoric, the more money they make. Hoover officials have been hands off til this point and not given them what they want, but it's a smoldering fire and these IDOTS want to add gas to the fire. Hoover and other law enforcement agencies need to figure out how to quash this chit before it explodes.
Hoover cannot allow the BS of blocking roads, shutting down business and bullhorns in front of people's homes in neighborhoods to continue. Its only allowing the flames to smolder longer. Someone will eventually get fed up and pizzed off enough to give the azzholes what they want - violent riots in the streets.

“It’s time to go to jail. We’re going to do some arrestable actions,” McClure said. “It’s our time to fight. … I’m bringing in folks from all across the country to prepare for battle because we’re going to shut down Hoover.”
Well okay then, if Hoover PD continues to show their big ass yellow streak, Then I guess it's up to the citizens to handle the problem.

Thing is, I'm sympathetic with the family. I've already formed an opinion (which could be entirely wrong) but I figure that cop was one those Gung Ho, Chuck Norris wannabees, anxious to prove himself a stone cold badass. I see him as one of those arrogant picks who uses his badge to compensate for a little dick. I'm sure there's plenty of others, like me, who share that opinion, but these dumazz protesters have made me dispise them as much as any little dick with a badge and a bad attitude. They're too stupid to realize that they're alienating the public who would otherwise agree with them.

How is this any different than extortion? Threatening to close businesses and bankrupt a city, It is nothing short of strong arm extortion. My question is who's liable when some poor guy headed home from shopping with his kids and these dirtbags stop him and drag him out of his car and beat him...who does this guy go to for justice? When this situation plays out against a redneck and the redneck shoots and kills the guy trying to give him a beating and he goes to jail for murder where will the justice be in that?

It would probably best fit under Disorderly Conduct. There is no crime called disturbing the Peace in Alabama, but the elements would be covered elsewhere.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

For those of us old enough to remember, Reginald Denny comes to mind in answer to your question. After the four officers who beat the dogshit out of Rodney King were acquitted, Denny was the truck driver pulled from his cab during the ensuing L.A. riots, beaten with fists-feet and a brick, and left in the street. He was then ridiculed, assaulted with other items by residents, robbed, kicked in the head while struggling to get up, and ultimately rescued by a good Samaritan.

I agree...to an extent. The kid who was shot was probably trying to defend his friend. But when an officer sees a man running with a gun in a crowded mall moments after a shooting, he really only has one choice - take him out. The kid was going after someone with intent to start shooting in a crowded mall and the police can't allow a wild west shoot out. There was already one bystander shot in this incident, a 12 YO girl. If two IDOTS start shooting at each other, more innocent people would have been injured or killed. I am making assumptions in the above scenario, but I believe this is close to the truth of what happened that night.

Is what they are doing not the definition of terrorism?
Per the Patriot Act on Domestic Terrorism:
"A person engages in domestic terrorism if they do an act "dangerous to human life" that is a violation of the criminal laws of a state or the United States, if the act appears to be intended to: (i) intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping." NO IT AIN'T! Not when they are black...like everything else; they get a pass. That is what I hate about what is happening. The REAL F-ing Racists that are trying to profit from and hurt people through manufacturing hate and racism get a damn pass.

From that story, the cops just let 'em have the area and let it burn. At that point, not much they could do about it:
Murphy said he did have one moment when he was scared: a car load of people carrying guns and sticks approached. He worried that they would go after Denny, so he made a strategic decision to act like a rioter himself.
He said he began beating on the hood of the truck "claiming" it as his own, so that the rioters would think "he’s got that" and would go find somewhere else to be destructive.
Shortly after, Murphy saw a patrol car and several officers. He had a moment of hope that help had finally arrived. Murphy said he made eye contact with the officers, and they just continued on.
“We were on our own," he said.
