I'm going to put a leveling lift kit on my truck and get some bigger tires. Looking for the experts here at aldeer to guide me on the ways of tire purchase. I won't have the money for road tires to pull off and on so i'm looking for something that will ride good and last while cutting the mud pretty good. I know that's probably a unicorn but looking for recommendations of folks who have good luck. Trying to fit them on my factory 18" wheels. Thanks in advance!!

Nitto terra grapplers have been my go to. Just put a new set on my new truck and leveled it. GMC Sierra 1500. Has 18's on it. I get 75-80k per set and clean out well in this red mud up here

I have a set of Kelly Edge A/T's on my Tundra, they have around thirty thousand on them and still have a ton of tread left, they are not loud and do well in the mud, the best part is they won't break the bank..

Nitto Trails Grapplers. Rotate them properly and you'll get 50-60K miles out of them.

I had Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my Silverado. They ride good and aren't terribly noisy but you get a lot more traction than you would with a standard A/T.

What size you were able to fit under it?

Just put some falken wildpeak at3 on my tundra, I put 275/70/18 on my factory rims with no issues. Tire looks awesome and has great tread, lots of really good reviews on them as well. I paid $770 for tires including installation. Tires ride nice and quiet and they have a 55k warranty.

I just hit 10,000 miles on them about a week ago and thought I'd do a short review for those that are interested in them. My initial evaluation of them was that they were probably the quietest "All Terrain" tire I'd ever had experience with, and 10k miles later, that still holds true. They are still super quiet. No humming or anything like that, as far as I can tell. They still ride very smooth too. In addition to driving around town daily, my truck is our main travel vehicle until MrsGomer gets a new ride. So we've made a trip to GS/OB, one to Gatlinburg and several to Memphis.

They're rated for either 50k or 55k (don't remember which) and I'm optimistic that I can get relatively close to that. At 10k miles (rotated at 5k and will rotate again with upcoming oil change in the next week or so) they still look like new.

As far as off-road use, I haven't put them through anything too extreme (mostly just nasty sloppy hunting club roads), but they perform a LOT better in thick/sticky mud than the Firestone AT's I previously had - which stands to reason because the Falkens are quite a bit more aggressive. Places I used to just spin from the Firestones getting packed, the Falkens roll through with no problem. They self-clean MUCH better than the Firestones.

I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about them. If I had to buy another set of tires tomorrow, I'd buy these again without hesitation.

Same here. Although I do like the look of the ridge grappler. I have no experience with them.

I have Falken Wildpeak at3's on one vehicle and Nitto's on another and in my opinion the Falkens are better riding and much better wet road handling than the Nitto's. And much better than the BFG's I had previously. I have Cooper Discoverer SST tires on another vehicle and the wet road performance of them is pretty good especially for a mud tire. Cost wise it is hard to beat the Falken tires.

just put toyo open country at2 on mine, have about 10K on them. About 1200 of that is gravel roads and another 2K of that is towing (some on gravel) and they have held up really well.

Looked hard at falken and they were a bit cheaper, but I was spending a boat load anyway, so what's another $15/tire.
