From what I have gathered from this is that these folks basically have a salvage yard for large appliances, similar to an auto salvage yard. I understand the issue if, there are, in fact, some that are collecting water from the rain and are a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Is there a possibility that the ones that still have any value in old parts for resale can be stored inside somewhere? Like maybe they could rent another building to store them inside so they cannot collect rainwater. The others that have no other value except for whatever the scrap metal is worth these days should be taken and sold for just that.
Mostly it sounds like they just need to relocate to outside the city limits and get the city monkey off their back.
This is what they have, a appliance Junkyard, what really needs to happen is the appliances need to be torn apart taking all the good parts out, label them and put them in sheds on shelves, like Morris said Memaw and her son are not physically able to get it done by them selves...

Those folks are good people not hurting anyone. They have fixed a dryer for me in the past and I have also bought one from them. They need to spend more time catching the no good piece of shucks drug heads and stop worrying about a damn washer & dryer. Yeah but that would require a little work and a few less donuts.

Citizens of Clanton ought to go up to Hoover and meet with the protest leaders up there and get some hands on training. Then come on back home and support Granny & son. Absolutely ridiculous situation is what it appears to be. I can only base my opinion off what I have read here. There may be more to this than I know about.

The main reason I'll never live in a city limit. Government over reach True, and that's a big reason why I live in the boonies. But even in the county there are health codes.

While I hate see anyone go to jail, they've had three years to take care of it. I've dealt with them a little bit but the whole place has more junk appliances than they will ever have use for.
