Trying to help a guy out that has a cow that has broken her back or hip and can stand. He would like to get or processed, but can’t find a place to get it done due to deer. Does anyone know someone in the blount county, cullman or northern Jefferson . Thanks

We use Crows in Henagar.

Terry’s meats in Blountsville was a go to place years back but I’m not sure it’s still open. I know his son had taken it over at one time. If that’s still the case, I’d steer clear...

Why would you “steer clear” of terry’s. Terry and Allen have processed a few for me and done a great job.
Brickyard in cullman also does a good job.

We used Terry for years. Always great dealing with him. When his boy started that sovereign citizen shucks I was done. I won’t go into what was said.

Again, Terry was great! His boy may have gotten through that phase, I hope so.

Try Kirkland's Meat Processing in Grant. He doesn't do deer that I know of.

I agree that he is different but he does a great job in processing beef IMO.

ANYBODY who runs a meat processor for a living has got to be a "little different".

I just meant that it's long hours, hard work and pretty much unrewarding.

Reeds in Clanton will. But if she can't walk off the trailer they won't touch her.

Thanks guys for the names, I'll pass them on. I would help them do it, but I hurt my back a few days ago. Crap I'm having to get the wife to put my shoes on, this old age stinks. If they can't get someone, I've told them I'll talk them through it and they can use my grinders. Thanks again. for the help

Dollars say they are way behind. Apparently he lost all his help. Told us MAY for a calf we have to get processed. The weavers in hartselle are booked up until late March as well. They always stay booked up, and rightfully so, they are excellent.

Having to make a reservation a couple of months in advance is pretty much the norm for the people still in this business.

I would use weaver meat processing in hartselle. They are honest guys and great place. Good price. They will do anything if they aint real busy. You outta walk in just to see their mounts. Pretty neat shop.

They process hundreds of livestock at a time
