Dang thing dropped in it tracks and flopped 3 or four times then got still. so 5 minutes later I start climbing down and it jumps up and takes off . I could see a giant hole around his liver. gonna sit till 9ish then go track em. Yall get a biggun.

Sitting on the point of a ridge with two bottums coming together to my left and a nice oak flat and saddle on my right. Mostly an exploratory hunt this morning. Still don't know the new property that well. What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

He missed one last year and was tore about about it since then because he’s the only one out of the three hunting buddies sons that hasn’t killed a deer. But now he’s joined the brotherhood. He’s on cloud 9. Shaking, asking for blood on his face, the whole 9 yards. Eli and I are sitting up high on a hardwood flat. Gonna sit a while longer then go join the lucky hunter and post some pics.
