I used to think Garth Brooks wrote a song about “shaving” but it’s actually “Shameless” Sounds EXACTLY like shaving. Yep. And Vince Gills love start slippin away, always sounded like limpin (That's the way i sing it 😀)

my sister (from San Fran) was riding in my truck one holiday and phish’s “Reba” happened to be playing. instead of “bag it, tag it, sell it to the butcher in the store”, she heard “faggot, tag it” and went all hyper-swj on me until I played it back a few times and she finally heard it correctly and said “well, that makes more sense.”
a favorite to listen for is Fleetwood Mac’s “rhiannon” that gets sung “brianna” and then the argument ensues.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

Kids today can just look the lyrics up if they don't know them. We just sang what ever seemed to fit.
What I always sang:
blinded by the light
wrapped up like a douche
you know the runner in the night
Correct Lyrics:
Blinded by the light
Revved up like a deuce
Another runner in the night
Didn't understand the lyrics that I sand, and I still don't understand it: I assume it meant Ford Deuce Coup.

My cousin always thought that "Beast of Burden" was Pizza Burning. She said she was in her late teens and singing it when a friend of hers made fun of her. I can't hear the song now without singing pizza burning. I think I married your cousin...

My wife has a cousin who they all make fun of her because for years on Aerosmiths' "Dude Looks Like a Lady", she sang "Do the funky lady".
My own is Manfred Mann's "Blinded by the Light". I still don't know the lyrics but sing it as "Rolling like a douche in the middle of the night". Like I said, I don't know the correct lyrics, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't sing about feminine hygiene products.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
