Alabama will hold a press conference for other players to make their professional football intentions public Friday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. CT at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility. There, players like defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, offensive tackle Jonah Williams, safety Deionte Thompson, linebackers Mack Wilson and Anfernee Jennings and defensive backs Shyheim Carter and Saivion Smith can announce their NFL draft choices behind the podium inside the Naylor Stone Media Room.

Sounds like some opportunities are coming to the Capstone. Should be fun.

I'm as a biggest bama fan there is, and coaches and players leaving isn't nothing new, but something just seems different this go around, especially the way bama lost to Clemson. Bama just didn't get beat, but that football team was not prepared to play Monday night, and that falls directly on saban.Bama appeared to have no game plan, defense absolutely got exposed , and worst yet I saw something I have never saw before since saban has been at bama, He panicked, and it showed by some of the plays called on the field. So maybe this year there is something a little more to it than just the usual turnover. Gattis, and Enos are huge losses to that coaching staff. I hope I'm wrong, but this may be the start of the decline, that way all know at some point is going to start happening.

I'm not real worried about it, I expect there is a younger guy or two at each position that will step up. I was a bit surprised about Enos leaving, I figured he would be the OC. But the fact that Saban didn't lock that up pretty quick tells me maybe Saban knew something we didn't. My guess is he has something in the works for the offensive staff.

Bama lost 5 juniors to the NFL last year and you heard the same crap. The coaching turnover is way more worrisome to me than the players leaving.
