Y'all all missed the spot light in the bed of the truck. Just kidding. That's a whopper. That deer had to come out of a high fence. They are the only ones stupid enough after they get that big to be seen by hunters. I bet that guy is rich or has a vested interest in the pay hunting business......... please sense the sarcasm in this post. Oh, I forgot about the rolly eye smiley that's not it........ ![cry cry](/forum/images/graemlins/default/cry.gif) no that's Todd's smiley ![confused confused](/forum/images/graemlins/default/confused.gif) well, I don't see it.......

wonder why all these big bucks are starting to be so stupid? I'd say its because of the extended doe season! Great deer...congrats to the lucky hunter!

The buck was killed by my friend Kirk Talbot from New Orleans on their lease north of Camden in Wilcox County. It was not a high fence deer and they don't even do any feeding. There are great genetics in the area and the adjacent landowners are all on the "let them go and grow" plan. He called me right after he shot the buck and I met him at Venison Creations that evening. The buck is 22 1/2" wide. I saw it weighed and it was 195, but the rack made the deer look like it was 145 lbs. My guess is that he will be one of the top winners in the Wilcox Area Chamber Big Buck Contest and we should know the official score from that contest later next week and how he placed. I'll have the info on my website at www.wilcoxwebworks.com/hs as soon as there is more to share.

I noticed it cause there's one just like it on nearly every power company truck. BTW ... for those of yall who are wondering what a 150" buck looks like, there's your answer. That's why I've always said, if your very first thought isn't "holy $hit" then it's not a 150.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

wonder why all these big bucks are starting to be so stupid? I'd say its because of the extended doe season! That is a fine deer. In the areas I've hunted the very low doe population likely does have something to do with them being so stupid. If they have to walk 10 miles to find some tail, they're gonna walk by somebody with a gun....

Sorry, I had just read the entire thread on extended doe season before seeing this picture...so that answer came to my head way too fast...LOL
