I've always wanted an allison, just not this model. In trying ti let pleasure get in the way of business.

What's really under the cowl? Says it's a SuperMag, but SuperMags came in 150, 200, and 225. Or, could just be a standard 200 or whatever powerhead under there, or could be a hi-po 260 or 280. Also, what lower unit is on the motor....CLE, Sportmaster, coned standard unit, or just a standard l/u?

Boat looks well taken care of. Allisons hold up better than any other boat out there. I would get the hull number and call Bill at Allison to find out if this particular boat has a wood transom or composite. I would assume with it being a '94 it is composite, but it doesn't hurt to just make sure.

The XTB's set up properly will flat out run. If you haven't driven an Allison before, be careful...there is a learning curve.

Klay, I love the Allison's, and I could help you if it was an xb 2002 or 3, but this one, I'm not sure. The guys on the screamandfly.com forum will know to the penny what what its worth.

And you'll be likely to find a buyer on there as well. Lots of allison fans hang out on there. I've seen a ton of Ally's sold on there over the years.

Lots of Allison models have 4 seats.

Called a "2+2" right? Those boats are not that desireable from the fishing world. Not much storage and the front deck is small. Go to BBC and someone within 2 hours will tell you what it is worth. What is he wanting for it on trade?

Years ago when I was but a lad, I told a buddy “I think I’ll get a nice fish and ski someday.”
He looked at me as though he smelled a fart and said “Dsmmit, AC. Are you going to fish or ski?”
I didn’t have an answer but I never did get a fish and ski.

Nearly every model of Allison bass boat were available with a 4 seat configuration....XTB, XB2003, XB2002, and the XB21's.

They do cut down on deck space, but are very versatile.

Klay I hate to tell you but I gotta go with IDOT on this un. You better buy it cheap, cause it has NO curb appeal.

A guy runs one one Guntersville. Don somebody. Has his name painted on both sides. Yep, kinda vain I think. Anyway it has a black engine with ??? where the HP numbers would be. And it's FAST. Real fast. It's a 2 seater where the passenger sits behind the driver.

Out of curiosity, how so?
