Does the 400 acre pen qualify as a little pen and the 600 acre pen qualify as a big pen?

I'm in sales and I sure would like to run up on some of these guys who can't tell the difference in real vs.not so real ! Don't get me wrong. If you want to shoot a deer in a pen ,have at it. With the way some of our hunting is I can see why a guy might go to a pen. As a matter of fact I have a buddy who has invited me to his penned area and shoot one. But if I did don't go to congratulating me like I was some kind of Geronimo and pulled off a great deed !

Anyone verified it’s a pen deer yet?

Well if it is a pen deer that changes the perspective.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Well if it is a pen raised deer not sure why the county would even be relevant in the post headline. I had conversation over breakfast this morning about this deer and now I come back to see it may be a pen raised high fence whatever you want to call it, deer.

According to some folks I've heard: "Deer in pens are just as hard to hunt as wild deer".

I wonder if they're as "hard to kill" as pen-raised quail? laugh

May have low fenced it to keep all the damn free ranging dogs out. As long as breeder raised deer weren't introduced, who cares? Deer can jump fences and come and go as they please. My cousin had an 80 acre coyote pen to run his dogs in. Deer would jump the fence all the time. They were still wild deer.

I hunt near Hayneville. I guess it's possible. That would be an exceptional Lowndes Co. deer, but not out of the question, There's a high fence operation near there too.
