Gentlemen, I got an email from our ex member 49er who is following the updated thread and had an interesting observation of the Lowndes County judge. I copied and pasted the email verbatim in tribute to 49er. I also know George Elijah. His late father was one of the founders of the Southern Sportsman Lodge in Lowndes County. I'm sure the current owners of the lodge aren't happy about this. Since there is only one District Judge, August65 has to be the one in this case too. The email follows: I noticed that the thread I was participating in when I got banned from Skinny's forum has been resurrected. You may be interested to know that Lowndes County Dist. Judge Adrian Johnson is likely the Lowndes County judge involved and mentioned in more recent cases that were discussed in the Alabama Enforcement Officers Association magazine. Read (and share if you choose) the article entitled "Canned Hunts are Illegal in Alabama" on pages 25-26 at the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11UbR-VLGjJeoc1nszXgniCg7aNclO7uM/viewThe game wardens involved in the cases were left with a bitter taste in their mouths due to the judge's extremely lenient treatment of the violators. The pitiful part of this is that both Circuit Judge Terri Lovell and District Judge Adrian Johnson are up for re-election and both are unopposed. Maybe we can make some changes on the Criminal Court of Appeals if we find we have a better candidate to vote for. Good hunting, Eddie I'm not sure I understand what I'm reading here. Rusty and the judge were friends. This article is criticizing the judge. Rusty's wife is the editor of the magazine.

Imagine what other stuff they haven’t been caught at. The judges I mean.

In one of the recently quoted post from the judge, he made the commit about the boys not defending their position. I know it is up to the state to prove their case of guilt, not the defendant to prove that they are not guilty, I get it. But if you are innocent what does it hurt to try to clear your name, when in this case you are 100% certain you are innocent? It always appears to me that by not defending your self you give the appearance hiding something,
Asking some of our legal minds is it a good or bad idea to take the stand, giving the circumstances?
What about this case looking from the outside? I'm not a lawyer but due to past experience I will never answer any questions other than name, DOB, and address without an attorney. That includes speeding tickets. That is nothing against LEOs because they weren't involved when I made this personal policy. When you can be arrested, go to jail, go to court, and he found innocent WITHOUT EVER BEING ASKED WHAT HAPPENED. Not tell us your side. NOTHING!! ZILCH!! EVER!!

Just the judge and his pen deer shooting friends. The Judge seems to be spreading himself too thin these days.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

What about this case looking from the outside? I would say, in this case, the boys were guilty "of something" and anything they said to prove innocence, in this case, would have been otherwise incriminating. In other words, they very likely did shoot at something, out the truck window, from a public road, at night. However, that is all completely irrelevant when the burden of proof falls on the prosecution and there's zero evidence of any guilt. The kids had no reason or obligation to prove anything.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Yea, what I was saying is it Rusty and the judge were good friends she certainly didn't try to block the article to protect her husband's friend. And I didn't know Pinson had died.

You got any questions? What’s your name ? Out of the 671 replies in this thread, who exactly are you talking to?
