My FIL was all about family and very open to me about his family matters later in his life but I never questioned him about masonry. What is DoA? DoA is DEADorALIVE, my husband, who has been a member on here longer than myself. I agree, any organization that robs openness between man and wife should not be revered. Learn about it then choose to criticize. It’s secret, how do you go about learning what the masons are about?

Amway is the commercial version of the Mason's. They can't tell you what the meeting is gonna be about before you attend the meeting. You might be funny but you are wrong. About Amway, or masons? About Masonry. But to each his own. You know what they say about opinions. My opinion is no better than anyone else's.

The one thing that amazes me is their ability to keep their business secret especially in this day and time. I try not to knock something just because I don’t understand it. For the many that have close family members in the Masons you have probably caught a break or two because of it and didn’t even realize it.

For the many that have close family members in the Masons you have probably caught a break or two because of it and didn’t even realize it. Not just Masonic family members reap the benefits. A mason is under no obligation to help out a brother mason. A mason is the type to help out folks who need it though.

A man that was a big influence on my life was a Mason. He was a hard, brash, racist, guy. But I saw him go out of his way to help people of every race. It was strange in a way.

I was a DeMolay. I thought it was a pretty cool thing to be in. It's a Masonic type organization for young men up to 21 if I remember right. I remember that Paul Harvey, Harmon Killebrew, Walt Disney, and John Wayne were also in DeMolay.

BUT he's not that way because he's a mason. Regardless if these guys are good/bad/indifferent they aren't that way because they are Masons. They are that way because of how they were raised.
A mans got to know his limitations.
