Nobody has said anything about hunting deer with a night vision scope wonder why the GW didnt write him another ticket for that. It shall be unlawful to possess any equipment that uses electronics to increase the ability to see in the dark (night vision equipment) while hunting any species of wildlife. according to the time on that scope it was 5:34 PM too wonder what time sunset was in Wilmer that day? I know where I hunt in January 5:20 is about the cutoff for legal light. The last Saturday of the season down here - 1732 sunset, so legal until 1802 yeah wilmer is far south west I'm almost in georgia so sunset here in early January is 4:40 sometimes. but regardless if guy shot the deer after legal light or not he was still in possession of a night vision scope and posted it on FB I'd think that would be easier to prove than the corn since he actually posted an image with a deer in the crosshairs. that's probably how theyll get him " just plead guilty to hunting by aid of bait we'll give you x amount in fines and wont charge you with being in possession of the scope" Far south west almost in Georgia?

the wardens may not be watching it too close, but all your "friends", your enemies, and everybody who knows you and would like to see you get your tail in a crack are watching. And they cant wait to drop a dime on you.
Oh, the wardens watch this site. There is even one that posts from time to time but I don't think many more than a couple know he is a warden.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

It's still there. I just looked at it to double check. We are not friends on fb so you cant see it. I’m telling you, it was there and now it’s not. One more question. I’m curious why did you change the batteries in your scope just to take a pic of the deer after you had drug him out of the woods? Obviously the scope pics aren’t very good. So what was the point of going through that trouble? The scope picture looks like it is from a distance, from an elevated location and shows limbs or bushes in between the “camera” and the deer. Who takes a picture from that far away, after having dragged the deer into an opening and takes it with obstructions in between you and the subject of the photo? When did you start at the District Attorney's office? ![grin grin](/forum/images/graemlins/default/grin.gif)

Once again it isn't a night vision scope. It's a day/night scope but without the IR light you cant see shot at night. You can see better with a 50mm good glass scope in low light. The GW asked me about it and that is what I told him. He had one in his back seat that "he took from someone the night before because they had the IR light on it'. His words. I have one of these scopes and it takes me 10sec to add or remove the IR light on mine. And I'm sure ATN would argue that the "night mode" allows the scope to work in low light (moon light). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeyDRYoM938

Then nightscope boy obliged him with more evidence by posting online and then talking about it like so many dumbarses.

Nah I’m in the northeast corner which would be the darkest part of the state in the winter and you can still hunt way past 5:20 in late January. He’s prolly got enough on him as is without trying to throw in shooting late on top of it.
