Looking for advice for my next set of tires on my 2011 F150. 20” wheels. I’m looking for some kind of on/off road tire. Not looking for mud grips but I do want a good off-road tire. Not wanting to break the bank either. Thanks fellas

There are dozens of threads about this very subject. Do a search for one. It has been covered over and over again.

You will get everything from Goodyear to BFG all terrain to Nitto to Cooper to Toyo. Then someone will throw out a Falken or michelin.

Yep - all depends on personal preference and cost.

The most recent set of BFG all terrains I bought weren’t worth pissing on. 35k and they’re at the wear bars. I’m looking for a new brand too.

I have the Toyo Open Country AT II's on my Jeep Wrangler.

I have the Cooper Discover AT3's on my Ranger 4x4.

They have both been good tires, but I honestly think the Coopers look better, ride better, handle better, have better wet weather traction and seem to wear better. How Cooper made a tire that has this much traction and still last as long as they do is a trick. I used to have a buddy that had years and years of Automotive shop experience and the only tires he would sell you out of his shop was Michelin and Cooper. I've had 2 sets of these Cooper tires and I'm a fan now. Coopers will go on Mrs. Irish's SUV and the Jeep next time.

Nitto is my preference.
My son's truck has the Coopers, but I bought it from Irishhuy...so .They have been great tires so far.

My next set will probably be Falken and I'll order them from Walmart.com..Let them mount them for free and then do the rotate and balance thing regularly . Best price I can find.

I've never had a set of Falken tires but the reviews are above average and the tires look good. I may try them next myself.

I just went through this for my F150 a couple months ago and ended up with the Cooper AT3 XLT and love them. Its a hurky A/T tire that is dead silent on the highway and performs good offroad. I did the 2" Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks and up the size to a 285/75-18 which comes out to a 34.8" tire.

I've had both and currently have the Toyos. I like them better, personally, but both are good tires.

Good luck with the Wild Peaks. I had my head set on them when I bought tires 2 months ago. Only 1 place could get them and it was going to be $400 over what I had seen them go for on line. Everybody else said they had been discontinued. They even showed available online and come to find out they weren't. Went with the Cooper AT3. They are ok.
