any experience (good/bad) or suggestions with a good setup that lasted a while? i tried the tape on an old model 12 and hated it.

any experience (good/bad) or suggestions with a good setup that lasted a while? i tried the tape on an old model 12 and hated it. I can't believe you would desecrate one of the most collectible, not to mention best, shotguns ever made with camo tape.

Here is one I painted for someone. Lasts pretty good and is easy to retouch.Using Walmart flat camo paints and several coats of flat/matte clear coat or satin polyurethane.  Other option would be getting it dipped.

It looks good and will last a long time, but it will scratch like any factory gun.
