XVIII OP 14 point Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 7,928 lower shelby county	any experience (good/bad) or suggestions with a good setup that lasted a while? i tried the tape on an old model 12 and hated it. Lasts pretty good and is easy to retouch.Using Walmart flat camo paints and several coats of flat/matte clear coat or satin polyurethane. Other option would be getting it dipped. I didnt have the time or mula to dip my gun so I tried it out. I can't speak for how long its gonna last, but it looks dang good! Now its not a dip job, but from further than 3 feet you can't tell. It takes an hour or so to put on, and I'm no artist, and fairly impatient when it comes to stuff like that, but it surprised me! If it'll last a year or 2, I'll be satisfied for 25 bucks.
