OCMS's version wasn't really a cover...Ketch Secor finished the song that Dylan had started. In fact, I think Dylan officially agreed to being listed with Secor as "co-writers" for the song. And, to be fair, Dylan borrowed the phrase "rock me, mama" from an old blues song from like the 20's or 30's (forget the guy's name).

Also, Darius Rucker's version is solid, it just suffered from being grossly over-played.
