Posting for Gomer..... ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/XT4bLRz.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/HeGFMGI.jpg) If that is stuck, someone needs some better tires. That’s what I was thinking. That doesn’t count as being stuck. Just no tires. In my defense, the best mud tires in the world won't do any good if they're not touching the bottom of the rut, and the right side tires weren't. They were just spinning in water. The left side were spinning in mud, but the truck settled on its axles before the left side tires hit anything solid. You need to get a Tacoma is all I will say! B

Making food plots down on Asphalt Road, there is a nice Trackhoe barely visible in an ore pit, almost had another one go down trying to get it out. Still submerged there in its grave today. Ton of money was thrown away so quickly.

When i was young that's all we did was mud ride, so i can't recall all the times we got stuck lol. But i do remember the most expensive. That would be my 90 model Nissan hardbody, i sunk it in a sandy bottom creek, the water nearly came over my doors, ended up costing me a motor, trans, computer, and my amp and speakers that went under water behind the seat 😳

I've sunk sum tractors and had water coming in my truck once but worst I've seen is a backhoe turnover in a sewage pond the guy broke his shoulder and was spitting out sewage water

I was trying to cross the shallow end of a cow pond when the water was low in the summer of 1986 when I was 17. 1972 Suzuki LJ 20 with gumbo mudders that could go anywhere and through anything. So I'm making it pretty good, slinging slop everywhere and next thing I know my front end drops into a huge hole so much so my "jimney" is vertical, buried 4 feet with rear end in the air. My windshield was buried. Seriously, it was straight up and down. Not a tree within 400 yards. This was a farm of a neighbor. Walked to a house and called my dad. Went back with a buddy, camping gear, fence posts, some lumber, cable, cumalong, high lift jacks and shovels. Took us 2 days of trial and error to get it out. I asked dad to just get the tractor. He said no...digging it out would teach me not to be a dumbass. That's the first time I ever heard him curse. I owed my friend a lot for helping. ![grin grin](/forum/images/graemlins/default/grin.gif)

A Native American gal in Henrietta OK. Thought I'd never get out!
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

My brother thought he was going to drive his 4-.wheeler across a “shallow” pond. At night. In freezing weather. He like to froze to death walking out. Just the taillight and back rack of the 4-wheeler were above water when I got there. We pulled the machine out with a truck but I forget which truck. Last spring, my nephew drove Dad’s 4-wheeler through a wet weather spring behind the house. The 4WD was out or he would have made it. He was making repeated runs just for the hell of it. It was bound to grab him. Like father, like son, I guess. I pulled him out too. There was a mud hole down at Manchester years ago. I once saw a 70s Beetle but buried in it. That mud hole claimed a lot of victims and almost became an extension of the lake. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/ds3Nzn6.jpg)

I once got stuck driving my 4wheeler down a gas line. I was running length ways so there was no tree to winch too. I had a 24’ extension ladder strapped sideways across my rear rack because I was going to do some work on a shoot house and was taking a short cut across the gas line. I ended up having to take the ladder apart and lay the two sections in front of the four wheeler and drive across them, 12’ at a time, then do it all over again, until I could get close enough to the tree line for my strap and winch to reach.

Buddy and I spent the better part of a Saturday drinking beer and catching bream one time. After the beer was gone and the fish stopped biting we decided to take my little 88 yota riding. After a couple mud holes I decided to try my hand at rock crawling.....Framed it out to where I couldn't get traction on my front or back drive tire. So we started piling rocks. Keep in mind that it's summer, I'm drunk, and also barefoot. Well I picked up a probably 3ft long 60-70lb rock and right before I made it to the truck it slipped out of my hand, fell point down onto my big toe sandwiching it between the falling rock and the rock I was standing on. Shattered my toe into a dozen pieces and knocked my toe nail almost all the way off. Rode home with a puddle of blood in the floor board and had my buddy snatch the nail the rest of the way off with a pair of pliers while I bit down on a wooden turkey striker....Still have the pics if y'all wanna see but the video of the nail removal is rated R for gore and language lol
