What's your favorite? Mine's Texas rig black worm but I think my pond fish has caught on to it...

Hmmm that's a toss up, i really like a spinnerbait, but i chunk a Zoom (or Creme) Bubble gum or Merthiolate trick worm most of the times though...

I’ve always liked a fluke or trick worm but my son has turned me on to these senko worms and I like those as well.

Shakey head pumpkin seed worm, but I’ve been throwing a crank bait a lot over the last year based on Perchjerker’s advice and now don’t leave the dock without it.

Crankbait all year long color dependent on the time of year and jig.

Bubble gum has always been my go-to. I am a firm believer that you can catch anything that swims on a Zoom pink bubblegum trick worm. So far my personal catches on the bubblegum are (freshwater) bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish, bowfin, gar, an alligator, and a big ol snapping turtle (salt water) bluefish, speckled trout, rock bass, pinkmouth snapper, and one unfortunate seagull.

Texas rigged zoom 7.5 inch curly tail worm in red bug, june bug, or junebug red. That works for me every time and most any time of the year. I went yesterday with a buddy from about 5 in the evening until dark and we put 15 on a stringer in his neighborhood pond out in greystone, and I cant tell you how many we missed. He was throwing a senko and after I caught about 8 to his 1, he said "give me one of them damn curly tails".

Zoom white fluke. I catch fish all year with it. Close second is Zoom trick worm black color on Texas rig.

I never go anywhere without these on the deck: Spinnerbait, swimjig, crankbait, worm.

Jig, jig, or a jig. Something is wrong if those don't work, but I'll say sometimes it's a Zoom fluke or trickworm kind of day.

My "in a funk and can't even buy a fish" bait to try to get some confidence back is a medium size white spinner bait with red eye and a colorado blade. Seems I can always get something to hit it. Even if it's not anything big, I can at least get a little action with it.

I really like worm fishing its prolly my favorite way to fish, there's just something about feeling around the bottom with a worm that does it for me...

Outside of condition based would be a strike king rage beaver bait, t-rigged with a 3/8oz tungsten weight and a heavy 5/0 trokar ewg.
Mizmo Tubes rigged the same way is a very close second, nobody uses big tubes anymore it seems, and works great on heavily pressured fish

I rigged a couple of my bucktail jigs up with tubes under the feathers just to try something different on a slow day trolling for stripers. It actually looks really good, might be on to something

If I could only have one lure it would have to be a Carolina rig. It can be fished so many ways.
My favorite bait to rig it with is a tiny brush hog in watermelon red, with finesse worm a close second.

White Snagless Sally. Love a spinnerbait and even though this is an old school one it still out catches every other spinnerbait i own.

My go to lure for both bass and crappie since the mid 70's has been the Eppinger dardevle spoon in red/white.

Also try a Charlie Brewer slider worm with 1/8" ounce head. If you want to have some real fun, try it on a lightweight spinning rig.

There's no telling how many fish I caught on these. I almost always use braid and can feel the tail vibrating when I move it off the bottom. I love fishing them at night also.

Green pumpkin red brush hog. Or a shakey head dark color. Those are go to baits when the fish aren’t cooperating.

A light head and Slider can be deadly. Great if you're wading small creeks, too.

I have 4 poles I never change bait on they have a Texas rigged kudzu worm, a rattle trap, a chatter bait, and a deep running shad rap. if I cant get a strike on one of those I just cruise around with a beer scanning for new spots. been having reL good luck on Martin lately with a black TRD about 2 inches long around docks and on points put 18 in the boat in 2 hours last weekend after I figured the crappie was done.

I pretty much fish everything, but if I need one to fill a limit. It's a shaky head with a 4" green pumpkin senko on it.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

My go to depends on the weather, time of year, and water conditions, but I have probably caught more bass on a TX rig worm, or a rattle trap than anything else. As far as enjoyment, I love flipping and pitching.
