Yeah they knew the possibility was good to have tornadoes but according to the report I saw no warning went out until after it had already hit. It was at night. You can’t see them at night except when the lightning flashes. That's bulldoodoo I knew they were about to get hit way before they actually did and i dont even live in Hamilton. It's like they want someone to physically pick them up and take them to shelter lol. It dont matter if you can see them or not, if you can see one it's to late then. If you dont have enough sense to pay attention to the weather when you've known all week your getting severe weather and theres a storm producing tornadoes heading right for you then theres no warning or anything anyone else can do to help you

Weather services and local TV do an absolute amazing job warning. They literally say what street tornado is traveling. However, sometimes storms drop tornados when none are expected Today WSFA thought all was well and were literally examming the Troy storm when somebody with NWS via one radar slice picked up the Troy tornado only then did WSFA find the tornado.

Maybe I can muster enough manhood next time to hold the walls of my house together if an F5 comes tipping through.
I hope you can too. And stop depending on the government to give you a false sense of security.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

Seems strange to me that the tornado in Marshall county this past week and the tornado in Hamilton MS both hit before any warning went out. I just saw where a woman said that she had no alert on her phone and the sirens weren't going off when their house was destroyed. They have a storm shelter but they weren't in it. It's amazing that there weren't lots and lots of deaths in Hamilton MS.
This is why it pisses me off for people to complain about "false" warnings. I'd dang sure rather them "cry wolf" 20 times, instead of being too late on one. I suspect that people who complain about such things have never ridden out a direct hit. I have. I'm not a fan. Story about the Marshall county tornado: We were in bed and my wife's phone alert went off for Blount county. We live 2 miles from the line, in Marshall county. Checked all the local news channels, and nothing. There was no break in coverage, warning, or watch. Checked Birmingham and found a live feed with James Span. It was clearly coming right towards us. As it got closer to the line, he said multiple times, "I can't believe they aren't issuing a warning for Marshall County. This storm had dropped and reformed several times. This tornado is hopping around. If you know anyone in this area, let them know. " We high tailed into the storm shelter. The storm came right across the ridge above the house. I had an all call from work to come in because of damage before they ever went under a warning. I don't know who dropped the ball, but Span knew it was coming.

If you dont have enough sense to pay attention to the weather when you've known all week your getting severe weather and theres a storm producing tornadoes heading right for you then theres no warning or anything anyone else can do to help you Ok then disregard Hamilton. How much warning or notice did we have in Marshall county this past Monday morning when this one touched down just west of Douglas at around 6:00 am? We're too far from Huntsville to get much TV coverage if there are also storms closer to Huntsville and too far from Birmingham to even get a mention. This picture was taken from the school my wife teaches at and my son goes to. No tornado warning in effect when this picture was taken. I'm not a meteorologist but I'm fairly sure that's a tornado. This is the same tornado that went close to Wiley's place, then it hit within 1/2 mile from one of the guys who works for us, about one minute after he put his 6 year old daughter on the school bus. When he went back in the house to get ready to leave for work, they announced a tornado warning for Marshall county. He jumped in the truck to chase the bus down and get his daughter off the bus. He took this on the way. Mattice, have you ever, first hand, encountered a tornado, or are you just still young and stupid?
