Got my tail kicked as well, I was covered up in gobbling this weekend, I set up on the same bird both days and he would gobble at anything that made a noise, until he hit the ground. Caught one glimpse of him and his flock....lol....he had at least 12 hens and 3 or 4 long beards with him. They still grouped up on our club, and the hens ain’t laying yet. So the hens staying with em all day is hard to get them to gobble. I think I may sit out this weekend and give myself some rest. Plan on hitting April hard

I am trying guys only get to hunt mornings on the weekends. I have gone in the afternoon some but never have much luck in the afternoon. I have come close several times hopefully I will get one soon.

The only time I've had luck in the afternoon, is out of state.

I have to add an update, so far this has been one of the best seasons I’ve had in 4-5 years even though I’ve only killed 1 lovesick 2 year old. I could’ve pulled the trigger on 2 other birds but just felt like the shots were marginal at best due to saplings/brush and don’t want to booger one up but hunt them another day. Good luck fellas!!

Been around a lot of birds myself. I wish they would gobble more maybe they will start.
