A lot of the feed stores don't charge sales tax because they consider it feeding live stock. Wonder when the state is going to make farmers fill out paper work in order to get feed tax exempt and tax hunters? Heck of a lot of dollars not being collected.

For many Floridians, Alabama is looking better every time Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission come up with more regulations grin

Truth be told, there isn't anything hard about hunting other than freezing your ass off. It's not like folks are strapping a plow to a mule to get their fields ready. Just like there aren't many people lugging a 50lb bag of corn to their hunting spot on their shoulder. The guy plowing his field is riding his 40k tractor and the guy putting out the corn is in his 15k UTV. Let's not try and fool ourselves here.

It will be interesting to see how much more corn is sold now vs how much has been sold in the past. That will give an idea of how prevalent outlaw “Corning” has been in the state.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

With CWD knocking on our doorstep this just greatly increases the chances of it becoming widespread in our state, it's not a smart move by any stretch unless you just want to "hunt" over a pile of corn.

How does this increase the chances over what is being done as "supplemental" feeding now? Or folks putting out a pile of corn or a trophy rock in front of a game camera? Just because someone is now sitting over that pile with a rifle or bow doesn't increase the chances over it being 100 yards out of site behind the manure pile.

If folks were already doing that then it doesn't. I would venture to say the number of corn piles in the woods is going to dramatically increase with the passing of this bill though, therefore increasing the chances

The whole CWD issue is bs since considering the current hundred yard rule plus you can feed legally outside of deer season anyway. I think the bill will be like amnesty for the mexicans - it will just make a bunch of people legal. Personally, I am all for it,
