We used to put them on the bottom lace of our work boots to keep ticks from going up our legs. That was back in the late 70s/early 80s and probably wasn't a good idea due to the toxins in the tags but it worked.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

We put some this past summer. As said above, the stands that were sealed up pretty good were bug free.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Ours are pretty well sealed. Had problems with bugs until we used the tags. My brother lives in West Texas and turned me onto it. Their shooting houses are pretty loose and they swap them a couple of times a year because of it. I think the tighter the house is, the higher the concentration of the active chemical will stay inside.

And we thank you for that. 😉

We started using the No-Pest Strips a couple years ago and they last from April til November for us. They cost around $6-$7 a piece. How does that compare to the ear tags? The Ytex ones are about $1.75 a piece. I think they are permethrin based. I am gonna give them a try. Got about 20 shooting houses and gonna put 2 each in them. Probably spent that on the good wasp spray the past year.
